Ushers at a Theater

Isn't it kind of obvious that the anti-gun nuts were a little too prepared and loaded for bear right after the Parkland shooting? It was almost like a que to go on stage. The FBI knew about the shooter, the school, the police department... And when Nikolas cruz showed up, the security guy and police acted like ushers at theater instead of cops. And the sheriff and all these students had polished and prepared speeches and talking points all ready to go.
